Karen Lassiter is the Executive Director of the program and concentrates on program standards, state compliance and teacher/parent training.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and Family Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  She has previously owned her own five-star rated large home center (which was the first five-star license awarded in Randolph County), and has 20 years of experience in the field of childcare.  Prior to opening Shepherd's Way, she worked as an Early Childhood Specialist at Randolph Community College.

 

 

Iris Swaney, Administrative Manager of Shepherd's Way School Age Program, graduated with honors from Randolph Community College with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. She has served with Shepherd's Way for eight years in various management and care giving capacities. As Administrative manager, Mrs. Swaney helps in all areas of operation including introducing and enrolling new families, managing accounts, in addition to all other office management and program duties.

 

 

Lynn Ross, Program Coordinator of Shepherd's Way School Age Program, is currently enrolled at Randolph Community College in the field of Early Childhood. Since coming to Shepherd's Way four years ago, Mrs. Ross has received extensive training in the area of school age development. As Program Coordinator, she plans and implements the activities, projects, and over all curriculum of our after school and summer camp programs.
